Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle Winning Tickets Announced Tonight

BOISE, Idaho – Thousands of Idaho Lottery players are anticipating tonight’s winning numbers announcement from the 2012 Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle. After sixty-three days and all 250,000 tickets sold, someone tonight will be holding a winning ticket worth a guaranteed $1,000,000. The Idaho Lottery will announce the winning numbers at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time (5:00 p.m. Pacific). All 250,000 of the $10 tickets were sold and tonight, one of those tickets will make someone the Idaho Lottery’s 40^th millionaire.

“This year in particular, there has been a lot of interest in the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle around Idaho and tonight, we will take the first step toward finding out who our lucky winners are,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “We strongly encourage all our players to sign the back of their raffle ticket prior to tonight’s draw. These tickets are bearer instruments and we want to ensure each player protects their prize.”

In addition to the guaranteed top prize, the 2012 edition of the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle offered more prizes than in any previous year with over 4,400. At 6:00 p.m. tonight, the Idaho Lottery will release all the winning numbers for the non-jackpot prize amounts that include four $10,000 prizes, fifty $1,000 prizes, one thousand $100 prizes, one thousand $50 prizes, and twenty-four hundred $25 prizes in this year’s game.

“The $1,000,000 prize, the four $10,000 prizes, and the fifty $1,000 prizes must be claimed at the Lottery offices in Boise,” added Anderson.

The Idaho Lottery will post the winning numbers to their website (idaholottery.com) and release the winning numbers for the $1,000,000 prize and the four $10,000 prizes via Facebook (facebook.com/idaholottery) and Twitter (@idaholottery).

For all prizes, players can check their tickets for winners at idaholottery.com, by calling the Idaho Lottery Winning Numbers Hotline (208-334-4656), or by visiting an Idaho Lottery retail location.

When visiting the Idaho Lottery’s website (idaholottery.com), players can click on the Raffle Results banner from the home page. The winning number for the $1,000,000 prize will be posted on the Raffle Results main page. Players will have two options for checking their tickets on the website for all the prizes. There is a check-a-ticket function where players enter their raffle ticket number to see if it has won a prize. Also, all 4,455 winning numbers will be listed sequentially by prize category and available for download in pdf format.

Players can also check their tickets and validate their $100, $50 and $25 prizes at any Idaho Lottery retail location beginning Wednesday night after 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

This year’s Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle game began sales on October 31, 2012 and sold out on December 29, 2012. About 25% of the entire game sold in the final eight days of sales. With the game being a sell-out, the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle generated $800,000 in dividend revenue to benefit Idaho public schools and the permanent building fund.
