$200,000 Cash Explosion Won by Rathdrum Woman

BOISE, Idaho – “I’m a nervous wreck,” declared Lee Isbell as she sat in the winner’s lobby at the Idaho Lottery offices about to collect a check for $200,000 that she won playing the Scratch GameTM Cash Explosion.

Isbell, who has lived in Rathdrum for the past 38 years, works for the Lakeland School District and has been an avid player of the Lottery since its inception. She bought her winning ticket at the Super 1 Foods store in Rathdrum.

“I got a little extra cash back after grocery shopping so that I could buy my ticket,” explained Isbell. “I still don’t believe it.”

Isbell and her husband plan to pay off their mortgage, buy themselves a new travel trailer, and invest the remainder of their winnings.

The Super 1 Foods store in Rathdrum is becoming one of the luckier places to buy big winning Lottery tickets in Kootenai County. This is the third, six-figure winning ticket sold by Super 1 Foods in Rathdrum in the past five years, the second in the last 15 months. For their part in selling the big winner, Super 1 Foods will receive a bonus from the Idaho Lottery of $20,000.

Cash Explosion is a $20 Scratch GameTM from the Idaho Lottery. There is one top prize remaining in the game.
