24 SCHOOLS TO COMPETE IN SCRATCH FOR SCHOOLS!

BOISE – Twenty-four schools have been drawn to compete in the 2nd Idaho Lottery SCRATCH FOR SCHOOLS fundraising event on Saturday, March 9th at the Karcher Mall in Nampa. This event will give these 24 schools the opportunity to win money for their school.

This is the second event that the Idaho Lottery is conducting. This event will benefit local schools in Kuna school district, Nampa, Caldwell and Gem counties. The participating schools are:

Park Ridge Elementary, Nampa Notus Elementary, Notus Butte View Elementary, Emmett Vallivue High School, Vallivue West Canyon Elementary, Vallivue Kuna High School, Kuna Ross Elementary School, Kuna Jefferson Jr. High School, Caldwell Parma Middle School, Parma Melba Middle School, Melba Wilder High School, Wilder Snake River Learning Center, Nampa Vallivue Middle School, Vallivue Middleton High School, Middleton Sweet-Montour School, Emmett Central Elementry, Nampa Ola Elementary-Jr. High, Emmett Canyon Springs High School, Caldwell Lincoln Elementary, Caldwell Iowa Elementary, Nampa Parma High School, Parma Maxine Johnson Elementary, Parma Skyview High School, Nampa Caldwell High School, Caldwell

Each participating school provides a team of 2 adults (age 18 years or older) that will be given an equal number of promotional scratch tickets. For five minutes each team scratches off as many tickets as they can. All prizes that each team uncovers will be given to the school that the team represents. The team that uncovers the largest total dollar amount and the team that scratches off the most tickets each will win an additional 1,000 scratch tickets for their school.

The Idaho Lottery is looking forward to this event as a way to increase their contributions to the Idaho public schools and will take take this event statewide. A cheering crowd is welcome to support their school. The Idaho Lottery benefiting public schools and buildings.
