$300,000 POWERBALL PRIZE STILL UNCLAIMED! MAN CLAIMS $100,000 IN LEWISTON! 

BOISE – Wanted: The lucky person who won $300,000 playing Idaho Powerball with the Idaho Lottery. The winner, who purchased a ticket for the drawing on Saturday, March 8, 2003, has yet to come forward to claim the prize. The winner turned $100,000 into $300,000 by purchasing the Powerplay option, which multiplies the prize by 2,3,4 or 5. The winning ticket was purchased at Wright Bros. Travel Center in Idaho Falls. 

The player matched all five winning numbers except the red Powerball number in the draw. 

The winning numbers for Saturday, March 8, 2003 were: 1, 5, 20, 21, 45. The Powerball was24 and the PowerPlay multiplier was 3x. 

For the same March 8 drawing, a $100,000 winning ticket was purchased from Larry´s Foods in Lewiston. The winner was a Clarkston, WA, resident who works across the river in Lewiston. 

This gentleman, who plays Powerball frequently, says he will put the money away for his kids’ education.  

The Powerball jackpot is currently estimated at $45 million. The next draw is Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at 8:59pm MST.  

Powerball is the multi-state lotto game that offers players nine ways to win. Players select five numbers from 1 to 53 and a Powerball from 1 to 42. The jackpot is won by matching 5 numbers plus the Powerball. Odds of winning a cash prize are 1 in 36. Jackpot odds are 1 in 120 million. Powerball is now played in 23 states and Washington, D.C.
