Emmett Man Drives Off BSU Turf in New Truck After Idaho Lottery Scratch Off!! 

Boise – There was a lot of cheering at Bronco Stadium on Saturday, October 25, 2003, between the first and second quarter of the football game. It wasn’t because of the game though; it was because the Idaho Lottery was giving away a new truck! Donald Rogers, Emmett, is now riding easy in the cab of his new 2003 Ford F-150 4x4 SuperCrew Truck! Donald had the winning ticket in the Idaho Lottery’s Grand Prize Scratch Off at the Boise State University Football game against San Jose. 

Thousands packed Bronco Stadium for the game and the crowd went wild as the five finalists scratched giant Bucks N Trucks tickets. Though Donald drove off in the new luxury vehicle, everyone who participated was a winner! In addition to each Scratch Off finalist walking away with a prize, each finalist received an afternoon of fun at the BSU game and $300 in travel expense money.

Before the Scratch Off, Donald didn’t want to get his hopes up about taking home the new trucks, but he was elated that he won the truck. In fact, he had been truck shopping in the weeks before the Scratch Off. His old Ford has over 100,000 miles and this was exactly the truck he had been looking to buy – even down to the color! 

Donald had submitted only one entry for the second chance Scratch Off. All Bucks N Trucks scratch game players had 5 chances to submit non-winning tickets to become a finalist in the event. The non-winning tickets could either be mailed in or registered online through the Lottery web site, www.idaholottery.com. There was a series of 5 drawings and a finalist was chosen at each drawing. 

The Bucks N Trucks instant scratch game is still going on. One truck remains to be won instantly on a ticket, and lots of other prizes too. Feeling a little lucky? Maybe now’s a good time to scratch!
