$400,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Boise

Boise; Idaho had another lucky Powerball winner from Wednesday night¥s draw, this time in Boise.nbsp; One ticket from Wednesday¥s $64 million draw matched all five numbers, but not the Powerball and had the PowerPlay multiplier of two making it worth $400,000.

The winning numbers were 14, 21, 25, 45, and 53. The Powerball was 9 and the PowerPlay multiplier was 2. PowerPlay is an option players select at the time of purchase. For an extra one dollar per play, players can multiply their nonjackpot winnings by 2 to 5 times depending on the number chosen for that particular draw. For Wednesday night, the multiplier was 2.

For the sixteenth time since last July, Idaho has had a $200,000 or larger Powerball winner, stated Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. quot;We are encouraging all our players in the Boise area to carefully review their tickets from Wednesday night and to sign the back of their ticket before submitting them for validation to secure their ownership.

No one has contacted the Lottery regarding the ticket or come forward to claim it. The winner has 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.

Wednesday night had 8,134 total Idaho winners on Powerball. Since July 2007, there have been 16 quot;Match 5quot; winners in Idaho. Of those 16, four have been Match 5 PowerPlay winners. In total, 14 of the 16 Match tickets have been claimed.nbsp; One $200,000 winner from January 26, 2008 that was sold in Malad in Oneida County has until July 23, 2008 to claim their winnings.

The Powerball jackpot for Saturday night is estimated at $75 million.
