Powerball Jackpot Reaches $105 Million,
Please Play Responsibly
Boise – The jackpot for tonight’s Powerball draw has reached the $100 million mark for only the third time in the last eight months, with tonight’s announced jackpot reaching $105 million. And while Idaho retailers are preparing for additional customers today, the Idaho Lottery is stepping up their efforts to remind players to play responsibly.
“Typically, we see an increase in the number of people playing when the jackpot for Powerball reaches $100 million,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “These are tough times for everyone, so we want to be sure that if you are playing Powerball, to play what you can afford, don’t go overboard.”
Although the big jackpot rolled following Saturday night’s draw, Idaho did have more than 10,000 winning Powerball tickets. Players who want the chance to win tonight’s $105 million jackpot have until 7:55 P.M. Mountain Time to purchase a ticket from one of the over 900 Idaho Lottery retail locations.
