In 2024 the 23rd edition of the popular Idaho Lottery school fundraiser program Scratch for Schools was unlike any conducted over the previous nineteen years. There were 459 schools who participated. The schools claimed over $160,000 in winnings that provided much needed classroom assistance. To date, more than $1.82 million has been returned to individual schools for classroom needs, making Idaho public schools the real winners.
