Idaho Lottery Player Claims $50,000 Lucky 7’s Top Prize!!! 

(Boise, ID) Matthew “Kane” Yeary got a very special birthday surprise from the Idaho Lottery: $50,000! Kane came to the Lottery office to claim one of the two top prizes on the $5 scratch game Lucky 7’s. Kane celebrates his 22nd birthday next week, and who could ask for a better way to kick start the year!

Kane says he bought whole rolls of Lottery scratch tickets in his home state of Kentucky, hoping to win it big with the top prize. He just had to be patient; this was the very first ticket Kane bought in Idaho since he moved here last June. Beginner’s luck? Maybe, but Kane says it’s been a pretty lucky year in general. 

Kane plans to spend the winnings on a trip to see his family. Congratulations!
