LOTTERY WINNER SPEEDS OFF WITH RACEWAY RICHES TRIP GIVEAWAY!
Boise – Gentlemen, start your scratching! Racers at The Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls cleared the track on Saturday, August 9, 2003, as The Idaho Lottery geared up for the Raceway Riches second-chance Grand Prize Scratch Off!
Leroy Jansen of Boise, the pole position speed scratcher, won a Speedway Vacation Getaway Package that includes a four-day trip for two to any official Nascar race for the 2003 or 2004 season with round-trip airfare, a first class hotel room for three nights lodging, a VIP upgrade package and $500 spending cash. The other finalists were:
Jim Igel of Boise, who won $1,000
Karrie Hoelzle of Meridian, who won $1500
Robert Halpin Jr. of Pocatello, who won $2,000
Jim Clark of Boise won $2500
Leroy was very happy about winning and said he and his wife plan to go to the Daytona 500 next February.
All Raceway Riches scratch game players had 5 chances to qualify for the second-chance drawing by submitting sets of non-winning tickets either by mail or through the Lottery web site, www.idaholottery.com. There were 5 drawings between May 30 and July 25, and a finalist was chosen at each drawing.
There are still Speedway Vacation Packages and lots of cash prizes left to be won instantly on the scratch tickets.
