December 31, 2009 - Boise - One lucky Idahoan in Canyon County is holding an Idaho Lottery ticket worth $1,000,000. The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that the winning ticket for last night's Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle was sold from a retail location in Canyon County. No additional information will be released until the ticket is claimed in Boise. The winning number is 059,388.
As of this morning, the winner has not contacted the Idaho Lottery and may not even be aware they are holding the winning ticket.
"Every player who purchased an Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle ticket should check carefully for winners. In addition to the top five prizes, there are over three thousand other prizes including sixty $1,000 winners somewhere in Idaho," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "We encourage all of our winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately to protect their prize."
Three of the four $10,000 prizes were sold in Ada County, the fourth was sold in Kootenai County in northern Idaho. The winning numbers for the $10,000 prizes are:

This year's Raffle game also included one thousand $100 winners, and two thousand $50 winners. All winners have 180 days to claim their prizes. The $1,000,000 top prize, the four $10,000 prizes, and the sixty $1,000 winning tickets must be claimed at Idaho Lottery Headquarters in Boise. All the $100 and $50 prizes can be claimed at any Idaho Lottery retail location.

Players wishing to claim their prizes at Idaho Lottery Headquarters in Boise should note that Idaho Lottery offices will be open during regular business hours on Thursday, December 31, 2009 until 5 p.m. Mountain Time. The Lottery will be closed on January 1, 2010 for New Year's Day and will re-open again on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 8 a.m.
