BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô Northern Idaho has recorded its second jackpot winning ticket of the year, this time on Wild Card. The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that one winning ticket matched all five numbers and the Wild Card for last night┬┤s draw. That winning ticket is worth $145,000. The winning numbers for last night's draw are 3, 7, 11, 17, 27 and the Wild Card is the Jack of Clubs. This is the second Wild Card jackpot winning ticket sold in Idaho in the last six months.
"Idaho continues to be a very lucky place for big winning tickets," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "We are encouraging everyone who played Wild Card for last night's draw to check their tickets carefully. We are also recommending all our players sign the back of their ticket prior to presenting them for payment. These tickets are bearer instruments and we want to ensure our winners protect their prize."
The winning ticket was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Kootenai County.
Idaho Lottery offices will be closed on Monday, October 10, 2011 in observance of the Columbus Day holiday. They will be open for regular hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Tuesday, October 11, 2011.
Wild Card is a multi-state game played only in Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. In the game, players select five numbers from 1 to 31, and a Wild Card which is one face card from a standard deck of cards and that card's suit. When all five numbers and the Wild Card are matched, the player wins the jackpot.
Idaho┬┤s last big Wild Card jackpot winner was last April.
