BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô WHAT: In the spirit of state-to-state cooperation, BALL, the iconic Powerball character of the Idaho Lottery is on loan today to the Washington Lottery as they prepare to kick-off Powerball sales on Sunday, January 31, 2010. Washington currently only sells Mega Millions and Idaho only sells Powerball. Idaho will begin selling Mega Millions tickets on Sunday, January 31, 2010.

While in Washington, BALL will arrive at Sea-Tac Airport and take Sound Transit Light Rail to the Westlake Shopping Center in downtown Seattle for a welcoming press conference. BALL will then board the city's monorail to the Seattle Center and the Space Needle followed by a visit to the landmark Pike Place Market. Please note: BALL, however, will not be going to the top of the Space Needle since he is too big to fit into the small elevator.
