BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô The Idaho Lottery is celebrating its own version of St. Patrick┬┤s Day with a new, limited edition run Raffle game with a top guaranteed prize of $100,000. The St. Patrick┬┤s Day Raffle tickets went on sale this morning at 1 a.m. Mountain Time. Only 50,000 of the $10 tickets in this game will be sold.
"Idahoans are proud of the Gem State and enjoy keeping it local. Draw games only played in Idaho such as Idaho Cash, Weekly Grand, and Pick 3, and our Raffle games in particular, continue to be very popular and highly successful," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director.
The Idaho Lottery anticipates tickets will sell quickly, and once they're gone, they're gone. No additional tickets will be issued once the last ticket is sold. Three business days after the end of sales, the Idaho Lottery will draw for the winners.
There are 6,860 prizes in this year's game, the most ever offered by any Idaho Raffle game with the best odds of winning any of the prizes. In addition to the top prize of $100,000 there are ten prizes of $1,000. There are also 1,350 prizes of $50 and 5,500 prizes of $15.
The $100,000 top prize and the ten $1,000 prizes must be claimed at Lottery Headquarters in Boise. All other prizes in the game may be claimed at any Idaho Lottery retail location.
"As with all of our games, we encourage everyone to sign their tickets as soon as possible," said Anderson. "Tickets are bearer instruments and we pay whoever presents them."
