BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô Just in time for the late holiday season shoppers, the Idaho Lottery is offering a two-day special for players on Tuesday and Wednesday this week only. All day on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 20 - 21, 2011 players who purchase a $10 Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle ticket will receive a free Powerball ticket and a have chance at Wednesday night's $104 million jackpot.

"This is a special offer that highlights two of our more popular games and is a way to say thank you to our players for a great year," said Idaho Lottery Director, Jeff Anderson. "The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle will create the Lottery's 31st million dollar winning ticket since we began operations in 1989."

Powerball is Idaho's most popular game and the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle is the season's most popular Lottery game. Time, though, is running out for players who want to buy a ticket for their chance at winning one million dollars. The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle draw is scheduled for December 30, 2011 ÔÇô only 12 days away.

"We have heard many people are buying raffle tickets to give as stocking stuffers," added Anderson. "If you are giving the ticket as a gift, it's a good idea to write the person's name on the back of the ticket."

As an Idaho-only game, Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle tickets are only available for sale through all 950 Idaho Lottery retail locations. This game is not sold in any other state, however, players do not need to be Idaho residents to play or win. The odds of winning $1,000,000 remains the same at one in 250,000 when the game is sold out, the best ever odds offered by the Idaho Lottery for a seven-figure prize.

This year's Raffle features over 2,500 prizes. In addition to the top prize of $1,000,000, there are four $25,000 prizes, two hundred and fifty $250 prizes, five hundred $100 prizes, and one-thousand seven hundred and fifty $50 prizes.

In addition to the Powerball jackpot on Wednesday night, the Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday night's draw is an estimated $152 million.

"We are reminding players to please play responsibly," added Anderson. "Both Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots are over $100 million plus Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle tickets are on sale and selling quickly. When players do play, please play what you can afford, don't go overboard."

The Idaho Lottery is emphasizing to all players they need to sign their Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle tickets and keep them in a safe place until the draw.
