ÔÇïBOISE, Idaho ÔÇô The Idaho Lottery is kicking-off their Two for Tuesday promotion of free draw-game tickets for northern Idaho players and retailers tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 between the hours of 5:00 P.M. to 6:55 P.M. Pacific Time.

For the two hours of Tuesday's promotion, players visiting any Idaho Lottery retailer from St. Maries north to the Canadian border will have the opportunity to receive a free $2 Double Play Daily ticket with the purchase of every a $2 Powerball/PowerPlay or a $2 Hot Lotto Sizzler ticket.

"This is a unique promotion just for northern Idaho," announced Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "In addition to some really big Powerball and Hot Lotto jackpots, for two dollars our players will have the chance to play free for two Idaho only jackpots on Double Play Daily worth $20,000 and over $25,000 for free."

Double Play Daily, a new draw-style game from the Lottery that premiered in May, gives players two chances to win Idaho-only jackpots of at least $20,000 with the same set of numbers. Draws for Double Play Daily occur each night, back-to-back, at 7:00 P.M. Pacific Time. Players could win one or both jackpots on the same ticket. The first jackpot is always $20,000 while the second jackpot grows until it is won. Currently, the second jackpot is worth over $25,000.

"This special promotion will also help local businesses in northern Idaho with more players visiting our retail partner's stores," added Anderson.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night is an estimated $186 million and the Hot Lotto jackpot is worth $15.6 million.

Tickets purchased during this special two-hour promotion will be for the Double Play Daily draw Tuesday night and Wednesday night's Powerball and Hot Lotto draws.
