BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô Luck that lasts a lifetime has struck Idaho on St. Patrick's Day! The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that one winning ticket sold for last night's Lucky for Life draw has matched the first five numbers, but not the Lucky Ball, and is worth $25,000 a year, every year, for the rest of the winner's natural life. The winning ticket was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Nez Perce County. The winning numbers from last night's Lucky for Life draw are 01, 18, 22, 37, 40 and the Lucky Ball was 13.
"Lucky for Life is a new draw game for Idaho players that debuted in late January," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "We always encourage everyone who played Lucky for Life last night to check their tickets carefully for winners. This ticket matched the first five numbers and will award the winner $25,000 a year, for as long as the winner lives, with a minimum of a 20-year payout, no maximum payout."
Lucky for Life is a traditional draw game, played in only fifteen jurisdictions in the United States. Players match five numbers from a pool of forty-five numbers and one Lucky Ball from a pool of eighteen numbers. Jackpot prize winners on Lucky for Life receive $1,000 a day, every day, for the rest of their natural lives.
Last night's winning ticket is Idaho's first, second-tier prize on Lucky for Life since the game debuted on January 27, 2015. Players have 180 days from last night's draw to claim their prize from Idaho Lottery offices in Boise.
