Luck finds Idaho AGAIN! $2 Million Powerball Winner Sold in Lemhi County

BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô For the second time in two weeks and the third time in five weeks, Idaho has another big winning Powerball ticket. One winning ticket for last night┬┤s $138.9 million Powerball draw was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Lemhi County, along the Idaho - Montana border. The Idaho Lottery has confirmed a single ticket matched all five of the first numbers, but not the Powerball number, has the Power Play option and is worth $2 million. The winning numbers from last night┬┤s draw were 05, 06, 13, 36, 50, and the Powerball number was 13.

ÔÇï"This has been a remarkable run of good luck for Idaho Lottery players on Powerball. Last night in addition to the $2 million winner we also had over 5,300 winning tickets that won other prizes on Powerball," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "We are encouraging everyone who played Powerball for last night┬┤s draw to check their tickets carefully for winners. Too often we see players not match the Powerball and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, the ticket matched all five of the first numbers, it has Power Play, and is worth $2 million. "

Power Play is an option that increases non-jackpot winning tickets up to $2 million. The option is selected at the time of purchase for one additional dollar.ÔÇï

ÔÇïA $1 million winning Powerball ticket sold for the June 20, 2102 draw in Meridian remains unclaimed. Two weeks ago, a $1 million winning Powerball ticket was claimed by Brian Reed of Sandpoint.

ÔÇïLast night┬┤s winner has 180 days to claim their prize from Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise.

ÔÇïThe new estimated Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night┬┤s draw is now $158 million.
