BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô Senna Antrim of Nampa won the first of three retailer sign-up incentive trips to Las Vegas. International Gamco, the Idaho Lottery's PullTabs vendor, sponsored the incentive program and plans to offer two more ÔÇô one in northern Idaho and another in eastern Idaho later this year.

Idaho businesses who sign-up to become new Idaho Lottery PullTabs retailers are entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Las Vegas trip. The southwestern Idaho incentive ended with the drawing of Antrim's name.

Antrim is the owner of Rooster's Lounge in Nampa. Her PullTabs machine, or TabBOXX, was installed last December. Since the installation she reports that two large winners have already cashed in. A $100 winner and a $300 winner were paid in the first few weeks. Antrim said the machine has become an instant hit, and a real moneymaker.

"I can't believe how it caught on", said Antrim, "the nice thing, it's a real social product, people play together and when they win they share the wealth, and buy more food and drinks in my place."

The Las Vegas trip includes round trip airfare and hotel accommodations for two. The prize also includes $100 spending cash and show tickets for two. Antrim is planning her trip in early March and taking a friend for a girls' weekend out. Antrim said this is the first time she has won anything, and says she's really excited to go.

PullTab games were introduced in Idaho in 1992. PullTabs are a social type of lottery game and are sold in bowling centers, bingo halls, fraternal organizations, restaurants, bars and lounges. Since inception, retailers that have offered PullTabs have earned $1.5 million in commissions from their sales.

International Gamco is currently offering this same promotion in northern Idaho until March 15, 2011 and plans to launch the eastern Idaho incentive in a few months. The southwestern Idaho promotion saw about 15 new retailers sign up.

"The retailer incentive pilot program in southwestern Idaho met with great success," said Tammy Bennett, International Gamco's Customer Service Manager. "We are fortunate to have such great marketing partners as the Idaho Lottery who allow us the latitude to try new and exciting programs and products."
