BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô The Powerball jackpot amount for Saturday, March 13, 2010 is an estimated $200 million! That is currently the largest lottery jackpot in the world. Idaho had over 9,400 winning tickets from last night's draw, including one $10,000 winner, Dave Kohler of Horseshoe Bend, who bought his ticket at the Beacon Light Chevron in Boise.
And the search for the missing $1 million Powerball PowerPlay winner from last Saturday night has reached day five. As of noon today, the Idaho Lottery still has yet to receive a single inquiry from any potential winner.
The Idaho Lottery is encouraging players who have been to eastern Idaho recently and bought a lottery ticket in the area around Irwin to carefully check their numbers. The winning numbers from last Saturday night were: 10, 29, 33, 41, 59 and the Powerball number was 15.
"Given the rural nature of the area surrounding Irwin, it is possible the winner may not have any idea they are holding a ticket worth $1 million," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "At the very minimum, all players, including the million dollar winner, should sign the back of their ticket prior to presenting it for payment."
In addition to Saturday's $200 million Powerball PowerPlay jackpot, the Hot Lotto Sizzler jackpot is at $4.2 million. Mega Millions with Megaplier has a $20 million jackpot for Friday night.
