Twin Falls Store Sells Second Lucky Winning Powerball Ticket; Nevada Man Claims $2,000,000 Prize

BOISE, Idaho

Jueden, a welder by trade, visited Twin Falls last weekend along with his fianc├®, Brianna Benefield. Before leaving town on Sunday afternoon, Jueden stopped at the Stinker Store at 880 Shoshone Street in Twin Falls to purchase a few Powerball tickets.

"It worked out pretty good, although I still don't believe it," said Jueden when he claimed his ticket in Boise. Then, after looking at his actual check, he added, "I've never seen so many zeroes before. This is a great opportunity for us."

Jueden's winning ticket matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball from Wednesday night's draw. His winning Powerball ticket included the PowerPlay option. PowerPlay is an additional $1 per play at the time of purchase that multiplies non-jackpot winning tickets up to $2,000,000.

With a wedding planned in Twin Falls in a year-and-a-half, Jueden says he's planning to pay off his house, his truck, and then invest wisely for his and his fianc├®'s future life together.

This is the second seven figure winning ticket sold at this Stinker Store location in the last two years. In February 2012, Bill and Mike Edson split a $1,000,000 Powerball prize sold from the exact same retail location. That winner was the first "Match 5" sold in Idaho that was worth an automatic $1,000,000. With the PowerPlay option, Jueden's ticket this week was worth $2,000,000. For their part in selling the winning ticket, Stinker Stores receives a bonus from the Idaho Lottery for $25,000.

There was no jackpot winner on Powerball nationwide Wednesday evening. The estimated Powerball jackpot for Saturday night's draw is $125,000,000.
