BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô For the second time in as many draws, Idaho has recorded another $250,000 winning ticket on Mega Millions. The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that one ticket for last night's $290 million draw matched the first five numbers, but not the Mega Ball, and is worth one-quarter of a million dollars. The winning ticket was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Power County, in eastern Idaho. The winning numbers for last night's draw were 6, 17, 19, 20, 21 and the Mega Ball was 20.
"Last night's big winner continues a remarkable run of good luck for our players," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "We are encouraging everyone who played Mega Millions for last night's draw to check their tickets carefully for winners. Too often we see players not match the Mega Ball and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, last night's big winner matched all five of the first numbers and is holding a ticket worth $250,000."
ÔÇï"In addition to the $250,000 winner, there were 7,310 winning tickets from last night's Mega Millions draw that won another $63,000, including two $10,000 winners that matched four numbers and the Mega Ball," added Anderson.
ÔÇïThis is the second the quarter-of-a-million-dollar winning ticket on Mega Millions for Idaho in the past four days. Last Tuesday, a $250,000 winning ticket was sold in Adams County, in western Idaho. That ticket remains unclaimed. Idaho's Friday night winner was one of 37 "Match 5" prizes nationwide from last night's Mega Millions draw. With no jackpot winner, the Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday night's draw is an estimated $356 million.
ÔÇïLast night's $250,000 and $10,000 winners have 180 days to claim their prizes in Boise.
ÔÇïThe Idaho Lottery is also reminding players to sign the back of all their tickets prior to presenting them for payment.
